Win Maw, a DVB journalist and a prominent singer and songwriter, is serving 13 years in jail.
To mark the four-year anniversary of his arrest, we are organising a concert to raise awareness of his situation.
More than eight bands comprised of international musicians will perform a mixture of rock, jazz, Latino, funk, punk, and more.
The Free Burma VJ campaign is delighted to invite you to show your support for Win Maw and enjoy what is set to be an amazing concert at North Gate Jazz Co-op on Saturday 26 November 2011.
The event will start at 7pm. Free drinks and food will be provided from 7pm to 8:30 pm. Music will go until 12pm.
